The basic principal of operation includes a laser source directed to a 2-axis detector which is communicating with a display unit. After establishing a "zero" point all changes are updated "LIVE" on the display unit screen. 120 measurement points may be saved, recalled, printed and uploaded into the software. The Display Unit contains the measurement programs to conduct straightness, flatness, parallel, perpendicular, line bore and spindle measurements.
